I have had implanon over a year and my period ceased after 3 months as I was told it would. I had unprotected sex occasionally since being on it but it wasn't until recently that I've become concerned. In the past week I've been feeling sever cramping tender breast back pains and spotting, nausea and eating habits as well as emotions have been fluctuating. Hi,

Since you are experiencing these symptoms all of a sudden one year after Implanon insertion, it is better to do a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy.

If the pregnancy test is negative and you continue experiencing these symptoms, please be advised to follow up with your primary provider.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
