What Causes Abdominal Pain After Appendectomy?
MY HUSBAND, HAD A APPENDECTOMY BACK IN NOV LAST YR. SINCE THEN HE HAS SEVERE ABDOMINAL PAIN, HE HAS GOTTEN SO DEHYDRATED AND WEAK THAT HE HAS NO ENERGY. CANT EVEN GO TO WORK. NOONE CAN TELL HIM WHAT IS WRONG THE PAIN IS IN THE UPPER CENTER OF THE ABDOMIN

If he has undergone open appendectomy, the pain may be because of intestinal adhesions, however if it was laparoscopic appendectomy usually adhesions don't develop. Get an ultrasound of abdomen done and proceed accordingly
