What Causes Abdominal Pain After Diagnosed Pylori?

hi,am sam from kenya.recently i was diagnised to have h. pylori..which led to ulcers,and was given medication which am almost thru. (Eso Kit). i feel very weak all the time,i have lots of thurst,my mouth is tasteless,and my tummy still aches a lil.cud these be the side effects of the drug?..what are the side effects of eso-kit drugs and am i recommended to drink sodas,and apples/pears?

Hi,

The dry mouth, thirst, metallic taste are common side effects of antibiotic content of the H. pylori kit in form of clarithromycin. The same is needed for your ulcer cure and it has to be consumed as per the recommended dosage.

For abdomen pain, you can get additional prescription of antacid syrup, anti-spasmodic medications from your physician for better relief. Along with above, dietary measures will help you to heal faster.
