Hi, pain after eating is essentially a symptom of Pancreatitis. But it could also be gastritis or bowel ischemia. You should see your Doctor and get your Serum Amylase and Liver function tests done. Bowel ischemia would have been very painful. I advice my patients to start with medicines to decrease acid production like Pantoprazole or Omeprazole half an hour before meals. But, I strongly recommend that you see your Doctor who can examine you and advice accordingly. Take care and do ask any queries you might have on the subject.
