What Causes Abdominal Pain After Undergoing Hysterectomy?

I had a prolapse and emergency hysterectomy 8 years ago. They had to repair put back in place multiple organs. Since then I have lost weight ( I am 5'8" and weight 160 lbs), joined a gym, changed my diet (I developed Celiac disease) and have been feeling overall great. About 10 days ago I worked out really hard at the gym and started doing weights. I also helped a relative move. Since then I have been in severe abdominal stress, fluctuating between discomfort and pain. My abdominal area is swollen, from right below my ribcage all the way down, and it hurts if I sit or stand for any length of time. Did I possibly mess something up, and should I try to see my doctor?
