What Causes Abdominal Pain After Using A Sunbed?

Hi Each time i go for a sunbed i get a very sharp pain in my abdomen for a few minutes and then it goes away. I only ever have the pain when i am on the sunbed, i havnt used the sunbeds in around a year and havnt had the pain, i have had 2 sunbeds this week and both times have felt this pain. Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Pain in the abdomen during sunbed may be due to some conditions like porphyria cutanea tarda or irritable bowel syndrome or infection or sun exposure induced flushing. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your dermatologist, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
