What Causes Abdominal Pain And Bloating?

My husband is 39 years old white male. He has been suffering from lower abdominal pain for almost 24 hour now. He said his stomach feel really bloated then the pain shoots through and and he feels like the bloating subsides. He said its worse standing up and walking around. Right now hes laying on the couch with a heating pad on his stomach. he has a temp of 99.3 F
