What Causes Abdominal Pain And Feeling Of Passing Bowel Movement?

Approx. 3hours after eating I experience mid abdominal pain, like a dull ache, and feel like I have to have a bowel movement. Usually, if I stretch out the pain will eventually subside and by morning I am better. If I have a bowel movement it is often better. This does not happen all the time, just occasionally, like once a month perhaps. Any thoughts as to what is happening? Thank you.

welcome to hcm,
if it occurs rarely once in a month there is nothing to worry. Feeling of the bowel movements rarely like once in a month is normal. but if it is associated with pain you may need oral anticholinergic drugs . discuss about this with your treating physician.
any way i want you to have adequate fiber rich food, Drink adequate water
have regular bowel habits.
hope this explains
