What Causes Abdominal Pain And Urge To Urinate?

before I went to bed I felt like I needed to pee all the time. I woke up in the night with severe abdominal pains and still felt like I was needing to pee all the time. The abdominal pain stayed with me for at least 30 minutes. What could this be? I am 50 about 5'11"and weigh about 220 lbs.
