Hi,I am Dr. Radhakrishna (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yesterday, I woke up in the middle of the night with aches just below my diaphram, to just about my waist. I know that they are not mentrual cramps, but it's difficult for me to tell whether they could just be simple muscles pains, or if it's something deeper, like GI. Is there an easy way to tell the difference?
it is hard to say exact cause. it can be caused by muscular distension and cramps but also cause may be intraabdoinal such as ureteal stones or intestinal cramps. you should do gastroenetrologic work up to rule these out. Wish you good health. Regards
