What Causes Abdominal Pain During Pregnancy While Sitting To Urinate?
I am 22 weeks along and this is my first surviving pregnancy. My baby girl is breeched but since i still have so much time i didnt worry too much. But often it is hard for me to go to the restroom due to the sharp pains i get in my lower abdomin. Although the pain usually goes away once im up on my feet, this time it stayed with me for five minutes afterwards. She still kicked for awhile during that five minutes but slowed down during the end. Am i hurting my baby? If so is there an easier way to use the restroom without doing so?
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, as you stated your query here regarding the lower abdominal while voiding with the history of pregnancy, but this is nothing to worry as such there is no specific posture described it is up to you to maintain the position where you are most comfortable, else this is nothing to worry, take care.
MILD PAIN ,INTERMITTENT IN NATURE DURING PREGNANCY IS CALLED BRAXTON HICKS CONTRACTION...THESE ARE NORMAL
BUT IF THESE PAIN CAUSING DISCOMFORT AND ASSOCIATED WITH ANY OTHER SYMPTOMPS, THEN CAUSE MUST BE SAUGHT OUT...THIS TYPE OF PAIN CAN SOMETIME LEADS TO PRETERM LABOUR... SO BETTER TO RULE OUT THE CAUSE BY EXAMINATION AND SONOGRAPHY... KEEP WATCH ON FETAL MOVEMENT.. 'THANKS
