What Causes Abdominal Pain Post A Gallbladder Surgery?

A year ago i went to an urgent care with really bad acid pains that i had been having for along time but that day i could not get rid of them. Most times if i walked alot i could get over them sometimes i would throw up and it would get better. They sent to the ER because they did not think it was acid. At Er they told me i had gallstones and said they were keeping me over night and doing surgery in the morning. For about 2 weeks i felt great then the paisn strating coming back a little i told the doctor when i went back for my follow up appointment and she was like well that is something else. Well in the past year it has continually gotten worse back to like it use to be beofre the sayit was so bad i had ot do something is there any suggestions as to what could be causing this.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Usually the symptoms after a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy remain there for no longer than few weeks, including abdominal bloating, pain, reflux and nausea vomiting. But if your symptoms which mainly include abdominal pain are coming from back, I would suggest a complete workup to see what is going on inside that abdominal region.
You can have your Ultrasound of upper abdomen and if non-decisive, you can go for CT abdomen.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Ameet Kumar
