What Causes Abdominal Pain While On Duphaston?

Hi doctor,am xxx from Coimbatore am 23yrs old ,I have an ovarian cyst and doctor suggested me siphene table for 4days after that the growth of my egg got increased and that day she suggested me fertigyn injection and duphaston tablet for fourteen day.Now its eleventh day that am taking duphaston tab and I have an severe sudden sharp abdominal pain for about 2days ago still am have that pain ,am irregular in my period but the pain is like the pain that I have on my periods day..what is the reason doc,please reply me and help me as soon as possible

As you already had ovarian cyst and undergone ovulation induction and as now you are having severe abdominal pain you have to rule out the possibility of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome or torsion or rupture of ovarian cyst. So, you better consult your gynecologist as early as possible and undergo ultrasound once to rule out the possibility of ovarian hyper-stimulation and also to find out the present size of the ovarian cyst and depending on the findings you can undergo further treatment.
