What Causes Abdominal Pain With Mirena Coil?

hi ! i put merina coil but from last 2 week cramping some abdomenal pain ,some time belly pain so i went to GP and she checked and she said there no coil i can't see. and she advised me for scan but i got appointment after 2 week. and my pain still there its not severe...but still i am worried what to do?

Hello,

As per your history coil is missing and there is abdominal pain in that case you should have your scan quickly if you car advised for ct scan and appointment is late till that time to be sure you can have X-ray abdomen after insertion of other coil to check its location. Consult a doctor again if she advise so. Investigation can only tell about severity of disease. Till then take painkillers.
