What Causes Abdominal Pain,mucus In Stools And Flatulence?
I am a seventeen-year-old female, and ever since I stopped taking anitbiotics for an infection from wisdom teeth surgery, I have had thick, yellow mucus attached to my stools, as well as just passing mucus by itself. I have also had alternating bouts of diarrhea and constipation. I am quite gassy, and have severe lower abdominal pain, that seems very similar to period cramps. Is this just a misbalance in my intestinal bacteria?
