What Causes Abnormal Calcium Deposits In Burned Tissue?

What causes abnormal calcium deposits in burned tissue. Which now requires surgery to remove these hardened almost bone like pieces to be removed in several sores that have appeared on my back which was severely burned when I was a toddler. Should I stop taking calcium? Thank you.

After going through your query I came to know that you have calcified deposits in old burn wounds. Calcium generally get deposited in dead tissue. The tissue of burn has at places least vascular and dead. So calcium is deposited in these tissues. You need not to decrease your calcium intake. You can discuss with your Doctor about it.
