Hi,
1. Irregular periods points towards the problem in the ovaries. it can be because of polycystic ovarian disease. It happens because of the fact that there are too many cysts in the ovaries which causes delay n painful periods.
2. We need to know about other symptoms also like weight gain, hair growth on face and acne.
3. You need to regulate your hormonal imbalance by medicines and exercise. So for that take, you should visit gynecologist so that she can evaluate you properly and can give treatment wisely.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
