What Causes Abnormal Vaginal Spotting?
I had PROTECTED sex with my boyfriend on the 23 of march which i happened to be ovulating two days before. It is now April 15th and I have spotted 4 time with no period. my period is supposed to be here sometime this week and i am just worried. I have only been spotting with no other symptoms. Am I pregnant? I cannot go to my doctor or parents because I am afraid of being disowned by my parents if i am and i cannot drive. I am mostly worried because i have been spotting and my period should have been here by now.

Sperms are active for 72 hours. Hence, unprotected sexual intercourse two days apart from the ovulation does carry possibility of pregnancy.
About a week before your expected menses, it is not possible to guess whether you are pregnant or not. May be this spotting is just an indication of starting of the periods.
For detecting the presence of pregnancy, you have got following options:
1. Get your Beta hCG test done on your blood 10 days after the unprotected intercourse. Values more than 25 mIU/ml are diagnostic of pregnancy while in non-pregnant state, the values remain under 5 mIU/ml.
2. Alternatively, wait for your menses to appear. If you get menses, you are not pregnant. If you miss your period, perform pregnancy test on overnight first morning urine sample about a week after the missed period; earlier it may report false negative results.
