What Causes Abnormality In Walking Style Of A Child?

Our grandson 20 month old will not walk without holding on to something. He has been standing on his toes when standing next to a coffee table etc. He walks fine when pushing some toy except it appears he turns his feet outward and the ankles bends inward. Any input would be appreciated. Thankyou.

hi thanks for your question,

all of your description if your grandsons walking sounds normal to me for a child of this age.

there is a great document online at global-health.org called what parents should know about bent legs, intoeing and footware in children which you may find beneficial.

best wishes
