What Causes Absence Of Bowels And Stomach Bloating After Appendix Removal?

my girlfriend got her appendix removed wednesday and i was wondering what kind of symptoms we should watch for?
she hasn't had any bowel movement since tuesday, she is still nauseated, does not seem to have a fever, she is swelled up in the stomach and pain is worsening a little bit
please help

I really appreciate your concern, I had gone thorough the history given here I could say that, once the appendix being removed then there should not be any symptoms unless it is the post operative complication occurred like pain at incision site, infection, puss formation, else it is nothing to worry.
If patient has not pass the stool then it is due to empty stomach that is being kept prior to operation, nausea vomiting could be due to anesthesia,
