What Causes Absence Of Heartbeat In Unborn Child During Pregnancy?

Good Evening, Today We did sonography for my wife, doctor found that she has twins and we can see heartbit of one but we cant see for other, this is her first month means 4th or 5th week of pregnency. I am afraid why other has no heartbit, Please suggest me what should i do? I am in much tenstion. please excuse any typos.

Heart beat sometimes do not not come at 5 weeks of gestation. but definately comes by 7 weeks. so you should get a repeat ultrasound done after 2 weeks to look for the heart beat. at that time they should also be able to tell whether it is a single or two different sac , as it has effects on the pregnancy whether one is live or not.
