What Causes Absence Of Periods With Blood In Stool?

I have been missing my periods for about 6 months now, and have noticed streaks of bright red blood in my stool. My stools are sometimes soft, and sometimes hard, it keeps changing day to day. I experiance mild cramping in the morning but nothing major. I am also only young, at 13 and a half. Is there something wrong with me?

OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

I believe you are in the stage of menarche in which the cycle keeps on fluctuating. You don't need to worry about it. You may have experienced fresh blood with stools due to constipation. You should take green vegitables with fiber-rich diet for a good bowel moment. Laxatives can also help.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Naira Jahangir, OB and GYN Specialist
