I ve recently noticed that my ears have stopped producing wax. Does this need to be checked out by a physician or am I ok just living with it as is? My ears do itch and I know that I can use a bit of Olive Oil to keep the canal moisturized. Haven t tried it yet, though.
Hi, Nothing to worry, having ear clean without wax is fine. It seems that there might be having some fungal infection in the ear as you get itching. Avoid entering water into ears while taking shower by keeping cotton buds inside ears. Wet ears might precipitate fungal infection. Do not put any oil in the ears as this will give stickiness in the ear causing dust to stick there causing wax formation. Ok and take care.
