Hi,

Increased frequency or burning sensation while passing urine is common in urinary tract infections. Urine routine, culture and sensitivity should be done. Vaginal smear and pelvic ultrasound can also be done in case of excess white discharge or foul smelling discharge. Pregnancy should also be ruled out in case your periods are late.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saranya Ramadoss, General & Family Physician
