What Causes Alertness, Tightness In Chest And Decreased Breathing After Taking MDMA?
Hi I took a very small amount of MDMA (1mm sized crystal) about 4 hours ago and I am still really quite awake. Now apart from any comment or banter about it being bloody good mdma (which I have had in the past), I would like to know why I still feel very alert, dehydrated (I am sipping water), tight chest, slightly decreased rate of breathing. I have made up a mix of water and salt and I am slowly drinking it together with some sports drink but I am still incredibly ducked.. It took me 30 mins to write this message (I am also having blurred vision to the point of not being able to read
Ok, if it takes you ten times longer to type than I do, then I would question whether the alertness is real or illusory. Certainly the effects of MDMA last hours (4 being a low estimate). The slight panic effects (tight chest) change in subjective time, general euphoria are standard drug effects. Putting more meaning or concern onto it are also drug effects. If the symptoms get worse, though, checking into an emergency room would seem prudent. Heat stroke can have overlapping effects to what you are stating. The hydration (and also not being in a hot environment are also helpful)
