Today I heated up some leftovers in a plastic container for too long and it slightly melted (just got a little soft).. when I started eating the food I noticed that it left a funny taste in my mouth. Now 8 hours later the taste is still there. Should I be worried? Can I get sick?
Hi Thanks for your query. Since the plastic has released melted the chemicals they get attached to the taste buds and will take its own time. Yes, it is better to consult a Doctor as actual examination is always a better choice to get a clear picture that there is no other effects on stomach and intestines as you have consumed the foods also.
