Hello
Welcome to Ask a Doctor service
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
In my opinion such case needs complete investigation for correct diagnosis, thyroid scan and with Iodine uptake study is must it is very unlikely that both the hypo and hyper thyroidisim exist altogether, I would advise to see the endocrinologist, if this the elevated TSH value then condition needs to be treated as hypothyroidism which is more common then hyperthyroidism.
Hope I have answered your query, let me know if I can assist you any further.
