What Causes An Increase In The Heart Beat?
my five year old daughter has just broke out in tears saying that her heart was hurting when I looked at her, her heart was beating extremely fast and I had to get her to take deep breathes and to calm down it went back to normal after ten minutes should I take her to the emergency doctor or wait to see the gp.

madam if there are previous episodes of similar thing and child is sick ..please go to ER but if answer is no go to your gp ..past history may denote some cardiac problem or some systemic problem as thyroid or lung ..if first episode and child is ok then it may be simple anxiety
