What Causes An Increase In The Heart Rate During Rest?
Over the last week, I have been experiencing accerated heart rate at times of rest, as well as pressure against my chest and difficulty breathing (especially when laying down). I have also been nauseous and experiencing pain in the right side of my chest down my right arm and left side of my chest but not down that arm. I m a teenage girl who doesn t eat very bad(only like once a week) and I do work out but have not since this started. Also, I have a low grade fever of 99.7-100.1. I went to the doctor and had an EKG done, but everything is normal. What do I do now? Please help!
Dear friend ... greetings from HCM.. first i think we have to rule out anemia in young age girl like later we can suspect hyperthyroidism and other problems ... please check your CDC, peripheral smear, HB%, TSH, fT3, fT4, chest x -ray, let us know what is the problem ... meet me after the report. But what ever it is it is curable with simple medications you need not worry .. you have to take care of your nutrition eat well nutritious food ... take more of green leafy vegetables, fruits , fish , egg, chicken ... or if you are a vegetarian take more of milk nuts, spouts ... do eat in time or else you will have gastritis .. avoid junk/processed/ fried food ... all the best
