What Causes An Irregular Heart Rate, Forehead Veins Prominence And Chest Discomfort?

Hi. I m a 23 year old male and I tend to be a bit of a hypochondriac. I ve been dealing with multiple symptoms for a while now. All of which are making me very anxious. It all started a few months ago. I had reached the greatest physical shape of my life. I worked out on a daily basis and work in a restaurant as a server walking an average of 8 miles a day. One night going hone from work I noticed an irregular heart rate that led me to have a panic attack. After that, I began having regular intense panic attacks. Since then I have developed many symtpoms. These include, visible veins on my forehead, chest discomfort, pressure on my forehead, string pulse, regular heart palpitations, discomfort under my left nipple when I m nervous, nightly nightmares, muscle twitchest and tightness, etc. I began having panic attacks daily. I have become aware of my pulse and had to stop working out because I feel like my heart beats to hard and it takes a long time for my heartrate to return to normal. I don t have insurance and can t afford to pay a doctor right now. Can you offer me some insight on what this might be?

Hello,

It looks like panic attacks are causing you palpitations. Panic attacks are triggered by stress, over-reactive thyroid, coffee(caffeine), amphetamines & drug abuse. Stay away from alcohol or any type of addictions(cocaine, meth, heroin, etc).

Other factors causing palpitations are irregular heartbeats that complicate to Atrial fibrillation or Supraventricular tachycardia/Sinus tachycardia. You are recommended to get CBC, Ecg, Lipid function tests, stress tests done to rule out any congenital or any other developing cardiac pathology.

Avoid stress & oily food. Take adequate rest & keep yourself well hydrated with soups or juices. Twitching & tightness (take Tylenol) for relieve)are due to dehydration, maintain the electrolyte balance of your body.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
