What Causes An Itchy Bump On Little Finger Causing It To Swell?
The other morning I woke up with an itchy bump on my pinky. As the day went on it got big to the point my whole finger was swollen and it was VERY sore. A day later the top of the bump became somewhat see threw and red almost like a blood blister. Now it looks kinda like what like the beginnings of a pimple. Is this something I need to get looks at?!
As per your case history, you are having pompholyx. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-b cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetirizine twice daily for seven to ten days. 4. Other treatment options are oral antibiotics, oral steroid taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
