What Causes An Itchy Vagina?

Hi. I've been having itch on my vagina for the past three days. I'm also having discharge, it's mostly colored white though it doesn't have any smell. I've read on the internet that this might be caused by vaginal yeast. I'm not sure though. Is Betnovate going to work? Thanks!

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely yeast infection. It is better to have a pelvic examination by a gynecologist and swab to rule out that. Betnovate will worsen the condition as it is a corticosteroid. I usually advise clotrimazole cream or suppository for local application in my patients. Oral fluconazole therapy weekly once for 1 month will help not to get recurrence. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
