What Causes An Outbreak Of Boils On The Buttocks?

I am having an outbreak of some sort (pimples or boils maybe?) along my butt crack, from the top all the way to the perineum. There anywhere from 15-20 of them in various stages (small, large, very painful, not painful at all, some seem deep, others like they are only on the surface). I do not have herpes or any other std (I m pregnant and was therefore recently tested). Any idea what this may be or what I should do?

Hi.
As per your case history you are having multiple furuncles.
My treatment advice is -
1. As you are pregnant we cannot go for higher oral antibiotics.
2. Use a good antiseptic soap like Dettol for bathing. Keep good hygiene and bath twice daily.
3. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it.
4. For severe cases oral antibiotic like azithromycin can be given as it is safe in pregnancy.
