What Causes An Unusual Feeling After Discontinuing Ativan?
I recently stopped taking Ativan 2mg its been two days now and prior to stopping the drug id been taking it for 1 yr. or so. my girlfriend goes to mexico to see her Dr. also to get her meds. I havnt been feeling very well and happen to be under a lot of unwanted stress. t

Ativan is a medicine that causes addiction. The discomfort you feel is due to withdrawal symptoms. You should not stop it directly but lower the dose gradually. Start by taking 1.5mg for the 2 next weeks, then 1mg for 2 weeks and so on until you stop it completely. If 2 weeks is short, you can make it 1 month also.
