What Causes Anal Bleeding?

Doctor a typical symptom has developed with me since last two and half year, that occassionally annal bleeding during tools passing appears for few days.This symptoms prevails only for few days specially during summer or in case of any abrupt change in daily timetable specially food .Is it a symptom of pile ? Is there any need for endoscopy?

Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Recurrent anal bleeding for a few days particularly when there is change in timetable especially food can be due to the following reasons:
Hemorrhoid, also called as piles.
Fissure-in-ano with or without piles.
Polyp, ulcer, cancer are rare causes.
Since this is a problem since long one should get the proper clinical evaluation, per-rectal digital examination and ano-proctoscopy. Colonoscopy should also be done to make sure that nothing is missed from the colon.
Yes, there is a need for endoscopy in the form of colonoscopy.
Also do the following:
Be correct on timetable.
Avoid all the foods and beverages that increase or instigate the problems.
Sitz bath in a tub with warm water.
Stool softeners if required to keep the stools soft.
If a cause is found which needs surgery, get this done too.
