What Causes Anal Discharge?

Hi, for the last few weeks i have noticed that when i dab my anus with tissue paper, there are a few drops of liquid. Its always clear, there is the odd time when I wake in the morning that the liquid may be slightly discolored. The most I have seen is a couple drops together, but generally its a few drops here or there, like sweat droplets. What can this be?
