What Causes Anal Discomfort And Pain?

I am 38 yrs old male 6ft 290lbs and I suffer from lower lumbar herniated disk and cervical disk building as we ll the past week I have had discomfort in my anus area seems to be in the left side like a stabbing pain almost so I thought might be hemorrhoids so I purchase wipes and suppositories and creams I ve been using now for 3 days and pains are getting worse what kind of Dr should I seek for assistance any suggestions I don t want to go to the ER room for nothing??

Hi thanks for asking question.

Which suppository are you using???

Mostly according to history you probably have piles or proctitis like inflammatory condition.
You have to do your proctoscopic examination by general surgeon for its confirmation.

For piles take care not to take excess spicy food.

Drink more water.

Fruit juices taken more.

Over the counter laxative can be used.

Take anal warm water sitz bath.

Avoid straining at stool.

Avoid smoking.

If still no recovery then stool examination done for finding pus cells or egg of parasites.
