What Causes Anal Pain After Undergoing Banding For Piles?

just had some piles banded and skin tags removed on june16, had an infection in the first week but infection now gone-taking anti biotics.stil in severe pain every time i open my bowels- no bleeding-not constipated- taking stool softeners and applying a cream(anastetic)twice a day. how long is the pain and discomfort supposed to last its almost2weeks now since i had the opp???

Use lignocaine ointment until the pain goes away. Usually it should subside in a couple of weeks.
Consult your surgeon to see for any abscess collection.
