What Causes Anal Pain With Diarrhea?

Hello, I have a sudden and sharp very short lasting pain, that feels like it's coming from my inside the left part of my anus. I don't have to be moving at all to feel it. I can be lying still in bed and it just happens. At first I thought it would go away, but it's been about 3 months now. I also have now had diahreah for the last 3 days now, but that may be unrelated. This happens throughout the day. There are no visual things I can see externally around my rectum. Any idea of what this might be?

Sudden sharp pain during defecation suggests pathology like chronic anal fissure. You need a physical exam and visualization of the fissure by a qualified surgeon. Avoid constipation. Use topical over the counter lidocaine gel and apply locally at and around the anus to help relieve pain.
