Hello,

As the toe is growing again there will be a muscle strain and leading to abnormal biomechanics of the joint and muscles.

Using hot water fermentation and doing ankle stability and strengthening exercises should help. If the pain is not coming down in the long run than removal is always advised.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
