What Causes Appearance Of Black Line On Bridge Of Nose?

Hi doc, a couple of days ago after my shower and having put on my contact lenses(can t see clearly without them on), I noticed a thick bluish black line appearing on the bridge of my nose(on the centre towards the root or top of the bridge and extending down to the left of the bridge). It appears to be a blood vessel as it disappears for a moment when I apply pressure on it. There is no pain whatsoever. Why is this happening?

Hello,

It may be allergy crease or rash or scratch mark. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please post a photograph or consult with your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
