What Causes Arm Weakness, Leg Cramping, Muscle Spasms And Tongue Biting?

Hello - I am 49 year old female, 5 6 , 200lbs, not diabetic. Over the last 2-3 months, I have been experiencing right arm weakness and right leg cramping (severe muscle spasms, bad enough to make me gasp for breath at the onset). Now, for the last week, I have been biting the right side of my tongue. I bite it when I speak, when I eat, when I swallow, sometimes when I walk. What should I tell my doctor to screen for?

After going through your query I concluded that you may be having muscle cramps. These are likely to be due to vitamin and trace elements deficiencies. I think you should get your vitamin B12 and Vitamin D3 cheched. You should also investigate yourself for diabetes, thyroid function test, Kidney functions test, heart functions test and neurological disorders. Till then you can take Mecobalamine and EvionLC.
