What Causes Baby To Pass Stool After Every Feed?
Hi dr.
My 5 mnth old baby weight7.35kg has been passing stools aftr every feed.
Initialy he started by passng stools oftn about 10 times sumtim green in colr wit mucus appereance.d dr said cud be viral n gave good bacteria drops. then baby strtd wit normal lukng stools however 8 times a day.v got d stool testd n d reprt said rbc ocassionaly seen.hence he was given medicine taxim o.nw 5days dose is over. but baby pases stool aftr every feed.

Child is having some type of GIT infection
Stool culture and sensitivity to be done . And according to the report of sensitivity he should be treated with relevant antibiotic.
In my opinion Taxim O may increase the frequency. Better to stop.
Any Probiotic like darolac along with the antibiotic will also help.
