What Causes Back Pain Along With Difficulty Urinating?
I have back pain. It is hard to start the flow of urine and the flow not constant. I have urgency but it is hard to go and my urethra tickles constantly. There is no blood in my urine and there is no sign of a kidney or bladder stone or any other blockage on the ultrasound.
Back pain with painful urination may be due to many reasons like urinary tract infection(UTI),enlarged prostate(in males) etc.
You need proper clinical examination and routine investigations. Investigations include routine hemogram, random blood sugar, renal function test, ultrasound of abdomen, urine RE/ME and culture/sensitivity.
Ultrasound of abdomen can exclude many causes. Proper treatment depend upon findings.
