What Causes Back Pain And Pressure On Vagina During Pregnancy?

hi,

i am 36 weeks pregnant with my first child, i am concerned as i have had bad back ache to the last few days and alot of pressure on my vagina, also my vagina round the edge has gone all hard and puffy, is this a signt that the baby is ready to come.



i was 3/5 engaged at my midwife appt at 34 weeks.

HELLO DEAR
I understand your concern , Dear in primi means during first baby engagement ( means biparietal diameter crosses pelvic brim) occurs first then effacement ( means cervical changes ) occur and you symptoms suggesting that engagement have occured, So in my view you should consult your doctor and get the internal examination done to know cervical status and station of head so they can plan your delivery accordingly.
