i have often backaches. but they increase prior to a bowl movement. i have hemmorids and conctipate often. i worry about pancreas problems. colonoscoppies were ok. have another one soon, reg back i have stenosis. i was sent to have cat scan because of backaches. not daily but when i do it increases prior to bowl movements, a
Increase in back ache before bowel movements is suggestive of colitis and the back ache is then perceived as a referred pain. Since you have got constipation a proper use of dietary changes, Isabgol husk can solve the problem of constipation and help for hemorrhoids. Avoid the foods and beverages that increase constipation. For back ache the best investigations is MRI as it can show any problems with spine. Also take a second opinion of an Orthopedic Surgeon to rule out any other causes. You may need to take laxatives and stools softeners fr a long time. Consult a Proctologist for hemorrhoids and get treated as per the grade. May need surgery for grade 3 and 4.
