What Causes Backaches, headache, nausea And Light Period?

I started petogen after giving birth on the 31/12/2015. My next injection was supposed to be on the 25/03/2016 but was injected on the 28th and had a sexual intercourse the following day 29th with my partner. I now feel some pregnancy signs like backaches, headache, nausea, had a very light mensturation. I did a pregnancy test and it was negative but these signs are giving me stress. Does this mean that i might be pregnant or are they caused by this injection ( side effects ) ?

Hello,
I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Ovulation is inhibited with the contraception and hence, chances of pregnancy are very rare, almost nil. Your symptoms are most likely due to the medication itself as it contains a very high dose of Medroxyprogesterone acetate. Menstrual cycles also can vary from being totally absent to irregular and scanty or profuse, due to the disturbance caused in the hormonal milieu of the body. Also, pregnancy test cannot give you a positive result soon after an intercourse; you need to wait for three weeks for HPT or ten days for the blood test. Hope this helps.
