What Causes Bad Cramping During 17 Weeks Pregnancy?

Hi there. I will be 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow and have had really bad cramping along with running to the bathroom a lot to put it politely. Should this be something I should worry about and call my Dr.? With my first pregnancy was complete opposite and was constipated. Thanks for the help. Much appreciated.

Dear madam,I understand your concern.Iam sorry for your condition. In my opinion you might have some gastrointestinal infection.
So consult your gynae as you might need a course of antibiotics.
Drink upto 3 litres of fluids to combat the losses.coconut water, fresh fruit juices are also advised.
Nothing to worry once the cause is treated you will be ok.Do proper intake of fluids otherwise you will be dehydrated.

Regards...Dr.srilatha
