What Causes Bad Odor To The Urine With Pain In The Lower Abdomen?

I have a lower left abdominal pain in front and a bad odor when I urinate also my vagina isn t smelling too great either. It s almost like a yeast infection smell. I m on my period but I thought I would be off or should be coming up on my last day(s) of it.

Dear- thanks for using our service and will help you with my medical advise.The bad odor in urine with abdominal pain is mostly secondary to an urinary tract infection.You need to get a urine sample for culture trying to identify the organism that is causing the infection, in addition to the antibiotics that this bacteria is sensitive to. Due to the fact that you are in your period, it might be hard to identify this because of it, so a broad coverage antibiotic can be used without having the examination of the urine.You should have treatment for 5-7 days and if still with symptoms,then get a sample of urine for culture.Drink at least 16 onz of cramberry juice and a lot of water.
