Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband, 40, was picked up by legs and grown in to a pool. He hit his head and it bent his neck sideways. At first he went tingly on the right side of body , especially his toes. That symptom did not last past th initial hit but he is in a lot of constant back pain. The pain will move from neck to lower back . He has been dealing with this pain for a month. He has been to see doctor and the doctor thinks it s a muscle but, my husband has not gotten better at all since the 4th of July. He has had crazy but it revealed nothing. He can t stand up straight at all, he is bent to the side constantly? What should we do?
Need Xray of the cervical spine to see if there is any bony injury & then we can plan the necessary treatment, or if the x ray is fine just relax him with anaesthetic drugs with an anaesthetist and see the range of movements, difficult to come to any conclusion without seeing him
